The Nikon D7000 Digital Camera For Amateurs

Nikon recently introduced the D7000 and the digital camera was praised by pros, semi-pros and new comers as well. Needless to say it isn’t perfect, just like any other digital cameras, but when you take into account the cost range it markets at this camera is unbeatable. This article will discuss the Nikon D7000 Camera through the standpoint of the hobbyist, rather than a expert. Most posts around the D7000 throws out the specs at you, and so I won’t do this, but I will go over the intangible features. You can check out the complete Nikon D7000 specifications here.

The feel of the Nikon D7000 DSLR is amazing. It is lighter than most pro cameras, and so easier to move around with. Its’ body is one solid, serious piece of equipment, and would give any enthusiast that feel of handling a pro camera, which in itself makes using the D7000 more exciting. Just holding the body and pointing the camera makes you feel like you’re about to take a photograph that’s going to be blown up and sold for a lot. The camera is sturdy and aside from a few complaints from users with larger hands, it has been found to be ergonomically marvellous.

Easy to use. While the Nikon D7000 camera has so many features, its’ menu and the buttons layout is very easy to use and comprehensive. The learning curve isn’t rough at all, and most people get accustomed to the feel of it in just a few sessions shooting. This user-friendly layout is another super reason why it is a brilliant digital camera for hobbyists. Sure you might not use all the features that this camera has, but its great to know that you have access to such pro features if ever you need them.

Picture quality is priority one for me when it comes to purchasing a camera. In fact, if everything else is beyond perfection and the image quality isn’t super, I wouldn’t buy it. That said, the 16.2MP D7000 shoots awesome pictures. Get accustomed to the camera after a couple of trial sessions, smack on a good lens, take a few of scenic shots, blow em up and your friends will tell you that you should go into pro photography. What better compliment for an amateur.

For sure the Nikon D7000 camera isn’t the most effective out there. You’ll find professional digital cameras that take better shots, that autofocus better, that do a lot of things better, but every single one of these other cameras will cost at the least 1000 dollars more. With this price, the Nikon D7000 is irresistible. You have professional camera quality for fanatic prices. If you’re an amateur and you want to take your shooting to the next level, or are only trying to find a fantastic camera that isn’t very high-priced, the Nikon D7000 camera will be the selection for you.
